Consent for Disclosure: NSCA will not release personally identifiable information (PII) from student records without prior written consent from a parent or guardian, except as permitted by law (e.g., to school officials with legitimate educational interests, or as required by state/federal authorities).
  3. Directory Information: NSCA may designate basic directory information (such as name, grade level, participation in activities, and honors/awards) unless parents opt out in writing. Parents will be notified annually of this right.

 

4. COPPA Compliance (Children’s Online Privacy)

Because NSCA serves children under age 13, we comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

  1. Parental Consent Required: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
